A New Orleans native, Eleanor Stern has a BA in English from Barnard College and an MA in English Linguistics from University College London. She writes about language and literature, particularly in the South, for a variety of outlets. Prior to joining the MSJE team, she worked as the Social Media Editor for Words Without Borders, a nonprofit that promotes literature in translation. She's excited to promote a more complex, diverse, and multifaceted picture of both Judaism and the South at MSJE.
